BRYANT Clyde C.
''Curly'' Bryant, age 77, passed away March 20, 2003 at his
home in Parrish, Fla. He was born August 29, 1925 to Clyde and Mae
Bryant.
Clyde retired a Captain after 35 years with U.S. Air.
He was co-founder and member of the Professional Pilots Association.
Member of the Airline Pilots Association. Co-founder and past Vice President
of American Sternwheel Association. Communications Officer with U.S. Coast
Guard Auxiliary. Member of the U.S. Air Corps and OSS during WW II. He was
an honorary citizen of Marietta, Oh. and winner of the 1978 Midwestern
Sternwheel Race in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Preceded in death by parents Clyde and Mae
Bryant, son Rodney Bryant and daughter Regina
Peters. He is survived by sister, Betty Amore; brother, Jack (Doris)
Bryant, Orlando, Fla.; sons, Bruce and Janice Bryant,
Roger and Cathy Bryant; daughter, Teresa and Rob Carder; 10
grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. April 5 at St. Joseph
Cemetery Chapel. Following the service, family and friends will gather at
Columbia Heights Methodist Church, 91 Sturbridge. In lieu of flowers,
donations may be made to the Hospice at Riverside/Grant in memory of Regina
Peters. |
